Amanda Kampert, MD
Dr. Kampert is a native of Louisiana and received her Medical Degree from LSUHSC-Shreveport. She completed a residency in Pediatrics with the United States Air Force at Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi, MS, and was selected Chief of Residents upon completion of her residency. She was then stationed at Ehrling Bergquist Medical Center, Offutt AFB, NE as a staff pediatrician and later was appointed medical director of the Pediatric Clinic there.
After an Honorable Discharge from the military, Dr. Kampert worked for the next eighteen months in a small primary care clinic in Glenwood, IA while her husband completed his military commitment.
Dr. Kampert returned to the Shreveport area with her family in 2008. She worked in the Pediatric Clinic at LSUHSC-Shreveport (2008-2009) and as a pediatric hospitalist at Suttons Children's Medical Center (2008 to 2013) before it closed.
She is married to Dr. Kurt W. Kampert, a practicing rheumatologist at Highland Clinic. They have two children.
